A reversing camera (also called rear-view camera or backup camera) is a special type of camera attached to the rear of the vehicle. It can help you see the area behind the car when backing up. HOW TO USE IT?
Activation
When you swap the car back to REVERSE, the reversing camera turns on automatically. The video display shows an image of the area behind the car. The display screen is usually located in the rear view mirror or on the dashboard.
In some systems, images may include lines that show distance. Some reversing cameras have pathway lines to help you estimate the space you need to park. These lines may be adjusted depending on your steering and wheel movement.
Deactivation
When you shift out of REARSE mode, the reversing camera will turn off. Some cars also allow you to manually turn off the reversing camera by pressing a button.
